It is the purpose of this report to describe the results on a series of 100 subjects: 25 normal subjects and 75 patients with various types of cardiopulmonary disease.MATERIAL AND METHODSThe subjects were studied in the basal state and in the supine position. Transpulmonary pressures, instantaneous air flow rates and tidal volumes...Bibliography1. MeadWhittenberger JJL: Physical properties of human lungs measured during spontaneous respiration, J. Appl.
