Physical and Mathematical BasicsIn this section, we introduce mathematical formulas and physical relations in order to get a visual understanding of electric and magnetic field quantities. Electrostatic FieldsWe start with the electric field quantities for the time-independent (static) case and explain the significance of the network quantities, voltage, and capacitance.
