Abstract

A unique type of pH/H2O2 dual-responsive intelligent nanoscale delivery system based on albumin-coated MnO2 is presented, which is capable of modulating the tumor microenvironment (TME) by relieving hypoxia. Additionally, TME-responsive size changes enable effective intratumor diffusion. A highly effective combined photodynamic and chemotherapy is realized with these nanoparticles in a mouse tumor model.
