Helicobacter pylori vaccine delivery systems:research progress

Abstract

Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection is the main cause of digestive tract diseases,such as chronic gastritis,gastroduodenal ulcer,gastrointestinal cancer and so on.Nowaday,vaccine has become an effective method to control Hp infection.However,it needs an ideal drug delivery system to achieve an optimal prophylactic effect.In recent years,the research on vaccine delivery system has become a quite active field.This review introduces the research progress in Hp vaccine delivery system,mainly focusing on micro-particle,liposome,freeze-dried powder,multi-emulsion,gel and nanovaccine.
