Abstract

ABSTRACT We have studied relative bilateral alpha activity over temporal‐parietal sites in normal human S s while they were engaged in either a musical task or one of three linguistic tasks of varying difficulty. Left/right alpha ratios were highest for the musical task, and tended to decrease progressively with increasingly difficult linguistic tasks.
