Abstract

In this report, the template activities of twenty-six additional trinucleotides are described and related to the nature of the RNA code. This builds on earlier work of Nirenberg and others, which describes the template activities of nineteen additional trinucleotides and nucleotide sequences suggested for RNA codons corresponding to amino acids. While still far from an "invariant dictionary" at this stage in the research, a table of possible nucleotide sequences is provided.
