Abstract
Twenty internationally recognized scientists including Nobel prize winner J.-M. Lehn, have combined their knowledge of supramolecular chemistry to cover this new and rapidly developing field. Some of the features described in this book include: supramolecular assemblies and devices; molecular recognition, information transmission; synthetic and biological receptor systems; selective transport from ions to biomacromolecules and supramolecular catalysts. It contains many computer generated molecular colour models as well as numerous references leading to original work and other reviews.
